Arcachon............... a little seaside treat!
Much to our surprise we loved Arcachon. It is about 20 miles West of Bordeau and sits on the South side of a natural water 'basin'. The seafront is line with 1950's 'kitsch' houses but really quite sweet. The whole town is compact and bijou and the waterside is a mecca for water activities, particularly wind surfing and kite surfing. Again we ended up cycling a million miles (well probably only 20) and yet we were on a fasting day. Talking of which I am now 12st 11 and Katy is 10 St 4...............brilliant!
