From the Aire in Creon where we are staying it is approximately a 25 kilometre cycle ride into Bordeaux city along a disused railway track (well it would have been 25k but the flippin Council were resurfacing the track which was so rough for our Bromptons that we had to cycle half of the journey on the road. This turned out to be around 60 Kilometres by the time we had finished! (good job we have had lots of practice recently)
Bordeaux is huge, and full of plenty of medieval and renaissance architecture. However a day was enough for us....
