Col d'Ibarin.............a little weird!

This place is in the foothills of the Pyrenees on the French/Spanish border.  It's just a little spooky!  The only things up here are shops and shoppers!  Apparently the French come up here to buy cheap booze, perfume, meat, cheese and fags! oh and also cheap booze (yeah I know I already mentioned it but the booze seems to be the real reason they come).

Actually away from the 'shops' the area is quite beautiful, we went for a lovely walk and after taking a photo of the wacky village I managed another Pyrenean foon haha.

Lastly, there are no 'proper' Artisan Boulangeries here either so I had to resort to making my own baguettes.  Well! what a spectacular success they were!  I have to tell you they were yummy and certainly not the poor relation to the bakery baguettes.  I think I will call them 'La Fronch Bread' hehe.

La Wacky French village!

La Mountain Foon!
