So then, after our 'free' night stop the other day, we struggled to contain our excitement yesterday when we pulled into the Arçais Aire only to find their machine broken and the entry/exit barrier was broken!
A French fellow motorhomer said 'come in, its free!' so we did.............. then this morning a man came along and fixed the machine............... I asked in my best pidgin French 'how do we get out?'.............and he replied in pidgin English 'you pay 6 Euro, the barrier goes up!'...................
Bugger! we thought we'd got away with 2 free nights here! never mind, we can always tell ourselves it was 'buy one, get one free!'
