We stayed in the village on Sunday night………the weather was foul, really windy and cold! However on Monday morning the sun came up, the sky was blue (still cold tho) and we wondered around the fortified village.
They sure knew how to build these fortified villages!

I noticed many of the houses have arched entrances to their land
Look at the date stone of this one.... (above too)
Inside the fortified bit, it's all a bit 'higgledy piggledy'
