The Snow, Clermont-Ferrand update..... Fri 15th Nov

Well, we decided in the end to start towards Clermont-Ferrand because the snow that I mentioned earlier was beginning to fall thick and fast and we didn't fancy getting stuck high in in the middle of (medieval) nowhere!

In no particular order here are a few photo's from yesterday and today (so far)

Another old building in Ispagnac (Kate likes the green paint!)

There is a clue to the size of this pot! (which was in Mende)

Driving out of Mende we had to cross this pass.....

Which meant going THIS high above sea level (in feet) !!

And didn't do any wonders for the fuel consumption either :(

The light was falling as we wandered around Le Malzieu Ville

So it started snowing.............

Then it REALLY snowed.........

Until it got like this! (on the A75 motorway now)

A week ago we would not have expected to see one of these!

Remember that photo I took of the dash panel as we left the Spanish border last week? (Wed 6th Nov)
